John this is the wire that I am using in wiring my instrument panel and engine 
accessories including my voltage regulator and alternator. The Revmaster's 
alternator for the 2100D is rated at 20 amps. You can downsize the ground by 
one wire size if you want to... I am including an ampacity table for this wire 
which is fire rated and can handle up to 600 Volts.
