Not sure what Mark's fix was for his ASI issues were but the plans
recommended system works great for me. Given reasonable atmospheric
conditions of temp, pressure, and little or no wind at altitude my ASI
will nearly match my GPS ground speed. Proper hole size in the static
tube and proper alignment with the oncoming air very important for
accuracy. Anticipate failure of anything on the airplane for the first
flight and be ready to handle it without panic.
