I should have been a bit more clear with my statement. I was wondering
what items were "repaired" / "fixed" to correct the problem, not so much
the process. It appears that your issue was the ASI. Mine came from
the C-150 I salvaged and worked fine. The white color indicator for
flaps was close enough to the speeds I intended to use for the speed
brake that I never bothered to change it. I did have to move the VNE
red line up about 40 mph. 😁
