Hello to all,
KR-2 project for sale. I have too many projects, with not enough time or space
for all, so something has to go. This KR was started in the 1970's after which
I inherited a T-18 project, joined a PA-12 partnership, and purchased a '38
Airmaster. The KR was always way down the list of priorities, and so no
further progress was made.
Fuselage is standard width and length, built according to original plans. FPL
16A epoxy used for all glue joints. Horizontal stab, elevator, rudder, and
outer wing spars are complete. Also comes with VW type 1 engine mount and
firewall plywood.

As can be seen, it is on the original style retractable gear, but most would
advise to change it to fixed gear. Selling the big hunks of aluminum from the
present landing gear at the recycling yard could recoup part of the cost of
purchase! Included are the original plans with S/N 573 from Ken Rand, and
early newsletters
$750 takes it all.
Additionally, a box of parts from a disassembled VW Type 1 short block,
including the case, and a set of 92 mm cylinders, still packed in the original
preservative. Sold separately, make offer.
