thank you for the fast reply. I am using Krusader on Kubuntu and version 
2.6.0.

Here is my reply:
1. Yes I checked that bug page and all my shell files are executable also 
same for .desktop files. I have no problems with other file managers like 
Dolphin or Double commander for example.
2. I see, I don't have latest development version, actually don't know how 
to install it on Kubuntu 18.04 if you can give me a hint would be great. 
However, Esc in any case is a hassle, what is Enter used in Search don't 
understand? Total commander is also working with Enter without pressing Esc.
3. Will test it.
