Are you sure April & Don & Mike have done nothing?   They sure seem to be
helping a lot from where I sit.

If you submitted code to the Linux kernel, would you complain it's not
fair when Linus or one of the other maintainers told you what you had to
do before they'll accept it?    Last I heard, they didn't go fix the code
everyone submits to them.   You simply can't manage a large open source
project that way.
