I seem to have lost that choice ;-) - well at least in the ksh93 tarball I've got installed... $ env -i /usr/bin/ksh93 -o vi $ set -o Current option settings . gmacs on vi off Are we saying that the above is now expected behaviour? Should this be documented? I'm all for setting emacs as the default line editing mode. I don't think that /etc/ksh.kshrc is the right place to do it. -- Rhodri
