I believe this to be true.

I have no reason to believe this. I suppose it could be true, I do know
that the digital PT sets use an ISDN-like signaling protocol.

They have standard "capability sets" that apply to all the LECS that
sell NI-1 ISDN. Something with the "S1" capability set gives you voice
and data calling on both B channels. It also gets you two SPIDS and
two DNs. For a simple setup, that might be all you need. As soon as
you start getting more than two DNs, you walk out of the standard
capability sets and into the ISDN wilds. If I had just wanted to
replicate two simple phone lines with the BRI, it would probably have
been pretty easy. Since I wanted to more complicated things, well,
that made it more complicated.

If the KX-TD system had *any* diagnostic tools showing what the heck
was going on with respect to the ISDN signaling, that would be a huge
step in the right direction.

Do any of the dealers on this list with access to the Panasonic
programming/debugging software know if it does anything useful with
ISDN signal debugging?
