Looking at the bottom of my KX-TD1232 cabinet, the serial number sticker
says "8HCI J030982". I'm not sure if there really is a space between the
letter "I" and "J" as I was laying on the floor to read it (the unit is
mounted relatively low on the wall). So, does this mean that my serial
number starts with "8H" or "J0"? Does this mean it's after the "1A" and I
can just change the chips?

BTW, it was originally a Dash 2, but we purchased a chip upgrade to get it
to a Dash 4.

Thanks.
