Sounds like a pain in the ass compared to what they're currently doing. :-)
Most of our sales staff have their phones set up to pick up an outside line
rather than going to Intercom. Does the account code have to be entered before
getting an outside line?
Main difference is just that, they have to enter code prior to getting the line,
obviously, once they are on the line, anything that gets dialed then is sent to the
phone company, if you want data sent to the ksu, well... no choice, gotta do it in
intercom mode.
Can an individual station be programmed to send a particular account code when
the preprogrammed "acccount" button or soft key ACCNT button is pressed?
You can program a button to speed dial the whole code I believe.
If the system is programmed to force users to enter a code for toll calls, what
happens when they forget to enter a code and then begin to dial a 1-... number?
Call will be cut off once they dial an unacceptable digit.
If we were to force users to enter a code for all calls, can the PanaLog
software filter the data and report calls & minutes for only the toll calls?
I'm pretty sure you can create reports any which way you want.
