Hi Moshe,

This may not sound high tech, but check the physical location where you
place the phone on your desk. The microphone for the speakerphone has a
little hole in the lower front of the phone. If that hole is blocked then it
creates a situation where the phone ends up muting itself to prevent
feedback.

This can happen by putting a post-it note over it, or by having the phone
pressed up against something.

Charles

Just subscribed.
My SP-PHONE was working properly up until several weeks ago.
Now when I press the SP-PHONE the sound comes very low when the volume is at
maximum.
When I take the unit to another extension it works OK.
It probably has to do with the exchange KX-TSV100.
Please reply
Moshe
