I was wondering if someone can help me figure out how to have a caller, who
is waiting in a queue on a DISA card, transfer to a general mail box on the
voice mail if they are tired of holding. It seems that the caller will have
to hold endlessly or hang up if the call isn't answered by the next available
agent in the UCD. It would be nice if they can press a button to leave a
message. ...but because they were originally tranfered to the DISA card
(extention 191) by FXD and not FXA, it seems that a voice mail option is lost after
that.. I have spent endless hours for solutions and haven't come up with
anything. I'm stuck.

Your best bet is to overflow the calls out of the group periodically to a
mailbox or custom service. Then record a Message that says if you would like
to leave a message press 1 to continue holding press 2. When 2 is pressed you
can send them back to the queue. As long as all calls in the queue receive
the same treatment the queue stack should be pretty fair to the callers
waiting. Traffic can also be a concern, so make sure you have enough ports.

We have found that the call holding capabilities in the Panasonic TVS line
is terrible. Requiring a caller to press a digit to stay in the que every
minute as well as the PBX music on hold constantly cutting in or out.
