One way to do this would be to set that extension "Preferred Incoming" to 
NO. The default for all extensions is to answer a ringing line when they go 
off hook.  If you set it to "NO" then picking it up should do nothing.
On a desk phone you press "program 99" 2-1-Store.  (I forget how to go into 
station programming mode on the cordless though.)

This way you would have to press the line button to answer the call.  I have 
not tried this on the cordless phones but it should work.  Another 
work-around would be to set the cordless extension to no-ring (DIL 1:N)... 
as long as you can hear it ringing somewhere else.
