I have a client with a 624 system & several 7720 & 7730 handsets. Their old ITT system indicated which of the 16 extensions was busy by illuminating one of the 16 lighted buttons. Can the 624 & a 7730 do the same thing? I know the 12 buttons on the right side of the 7730 indicate which of the CO lines is in use. Can that default be changed to indicate Extension instead?
And to that end, only 12 instead of 24? Only 12 of the "24" buttons have LED's. Lastly, in a scenario without voice mail, does the 624 have the capability for a caller to leave a short message if not available at each extension?
