It's the left side and you have 12 programmable buttons for CO, DSS, Voice Mail, and CID functions. You can add a DSS, which takes a system port, to indicate 48 more extensions, so in practical use you would only add DSS consoles to one or two phones. > >And to that end, only 12 instead of 24?
