The phrase is deviceS. Start with the Wizard's Toolbox (thanks Gary
Christiansen) and look for a loop sensing device. this will operate a
relay whenever loop current flows through it. Put that on your fax machine
or whatever you want to mark busy to the KSU. Now, it gets totally
strange. You ought to have 2 more relays, one being DPDT to open the the
line to theKSU's CO, and one to short a station port to access the CO line
that you want to show busy. Of course, Rube, understand that you might
have to put 9v DC across the NO contacts of the DPDT relay to hold up the
trunk when the station accesses it.
Outside of that, a piece of cake. Oh yeah, the relays are not for direct
connection to the public network so they don't come with any guarantee.
