Hi Carl! I have not had contact with you since 1998 when you helped me with a few technical questions on my KX-T61610 System. Glad to see you are still around! My email address used to be : [EMAIL PROTECTED] back then. I have a few questions that may be very dumb to you since I have been out of the phone system loop since that time!
1. Can KX-T74XX phones be used with my system? 2. Can a KX-TVS100 Voice Processing unit be used with my system? 3. If the answer is NO to any of the above, would you recommend I switch out my 6161 to a D1232? (where I can use all the above) ...or is it best to go to a more current system? I do use all 16 extensions on my 61610 but only 2 CO lines for my home installation. It has and is working perfect! I might be able to get a "deal" on the stuff listed above used and wonder if I can use some of it (yea it would be nice to replace some of my non display phones with display phones to see if it is the front or back door call box calling, but the AUTO ANSWER on intercom feature must also work (I use this feature the most)! Also it would be "nice" to have a voice mail system instead of 2 answering machines, but not really needed ...but if I can get the TVS100 for $100 ...should I bother?
