I don't know about "standards" for DB-9 to RJ-45 connectors. I've got a number of devices that use them, and at least four different wiring patterns. So, I've got to keep four different cables in the kits, with lots of labels as to which goes to what.
Kind of like null modem adapters and cables. There are several ways to wire them as well. Some work fine for some applications, others don't work at all.
