Larry is right - almost certainly, the clock crystal has failed. I had two systems about 8 years old fail in this fashion after being transported about 50 miles.
It is an easy fix with a soldering iron. Panasonic part number is PQVCL3276N9Z. Go to www.pstc.panasonic.com - lists for $ 2.84 as of this morning.
