The 1232-1 only does day/night. I don't think that the lunch and break times
came in till -4 or later. I usually set the vm to ans acording to the time
schedule the customer has. A simple example would be day greeting, night
greeting alway go with the vm timing. The day / nite switch with the phone
system is just to transfer the ringing to system in day and vm at night.
That can be automatic or manual. Manual mode I put a day/ night key on the
phone. If they forget to put it into night just put the intercept ringer to
vm after (x) rings. I hate calling after hrs and vm tries to ring and
extension when everyone knows the office is closed. I think it's wasted
time. Opinions are like rear ends, everyone has them.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. Guessing from you guys responses, I should set
the PBX to manual as various days have different hours. However,
Charles Patterson mentioned (as well as others) that I should set up
"follow PBX" in service group settings. I don't see that in the
software supplied with the TVA-50. Please advise.
Thanks all you guys for your help.
Be Well!
