Marc, are you using DIDs over a T-1 or the 4 port DID card? Our -4 installs with the DID card don't work that way. We have to set CF(NA) at each station. Also, if CF(BNA) is set, a DID call goes right to VM if the set is busy, even if CW is turned on. If the IRNA catches the call, the TVS plays the custom service prompts. I'll check the manual, there are two fudge settings (990) that set DID IRNA handling too. I think we had a problem with what one of those settings did. ----------------------------------------------- One of the techs put me down for a trouble call tomorrow. A new customer had 4 dedicated lines installed for 4 service reps. Another day wasted with nose in tfm. Simple problem, no obvious fix. If line 3 rings and rep 3 is gone - either another rep can catch the call (thus DIL 1-N required, with delayed ring at that) or the call should go to rep 3's vmbox (but IRNA will send it to the receptionist box, the lowest jack number). I hate moving stations around to get some XDP's as the lowest jack, and setting vm to delay flush msgs from a dummy box to the real box. When the system left the shop, i set the 4 lines up to do DIL 1-1, but the other reps can't see or hear the other 3 lines ring. If you think Pano did a good job on DID, try this. Set a DID number to a Phantom number, give that number a mailbox. Dial the DID number. -larry --- "Marc L.
