I have a customer with a KXT-D816 hooked to a TVS-75. Everything works ok
EXCEPT the message waiting lights won't light. I have been hooked to the
TVS with my laptop and watched it say it is sending the LAMP ON CODE to ext
[106] but the lamp never turns on. Someone else installed the system and
couldn't get it to work. Another company was called who also couldn't get
it to work. Neither company had ever worked with a Panasonic voice mail
system before so there's no telling what has been done. When I got there,
it was hooked up with two sets of wires to two ports on the KXT so I
rewired it using only one KXT port. I checked all the settings and made a
few changes but finally gave up in frustration. I am headed back tomorrow
and will probably re-initialize the VM unless someone can give me a hint on
what else to look for.
