I doubt it's a spell checker. :)
You can send the file to me, and I'll see whether it would work, but not
necessarily today. :)

You have a spell checker with words in .po format???
Pootle doesn't offer spell checking, meanwhile most of the browsers do.
And for pootle to offer suggestions from terminology, the terminology .po file would have to have
an English word in "msgid" field, and an appropriate Maltese word in "msgstr".
