Hello,

I started the Lithuanian translation of AOO 3.4.1 <https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=121877> in the late Spring/early Summer of this year while AOO 4.0 was approaching.

I was making a slow, yet consistent progress, completing about 50-60% of the translation, but was then side-tracked for a couple of months by other important matters.

The reason for the slow tempo of my work was mainly due to my effort to bring the LT translation up to a whole new level of integrity by reaching to its core and revising some of its basic root metaphors (such as the user-oriented chancellery analogy of "desktop-folder-file" used in English and almost entirely lost in Lithuanian which it should not have been).

In a couple of weeks I will be in a position to resume my work on the Lithuanian translation. In addition, a few days ago I was approached by another potential volunteer whose help would speed things up.

My question is this: at this point, it would be more reasonable to proceed with the translation of AOO 4.0, yet I don't want to lose the precious work I've done on the translation of AOO 3.4.1. Can I submit my current PO files for AOO 3.4.1. so they get integrated into the language files for AOO 4.0 and then can I receive the PO files for AOO 4.0?

Sincerely,

Aivaras Stepukonis
