I tried to upload again the extension on the OO website.
But I got an error message when I was asked to confirm the release
creation. It was: “Le site Web a rencontré une erreur inattendue.
Veuillez essayer de nouveau plus tard.” (The website encountered an
unexpected error. Please try again later.)
I tried to download your 4.11 file, change the extension ID appending a
".test" to it, change the filename to dict-fr-test.oxt and upload it as
if it was a release of the Italian dictionary, one of the extensions I
maintain, and everything worked (stupidity of this test aside; I should
have created a dummy extension, even though I kept the release
unpublished so it's not shown).
Bugs, bugs, bugs... :(
I renamed the file and succeeded to upload, but when I want to download
I get the error: “The "/17340/0/dict411.oxt" file could not be found or
is not available. Please select another file.”
That was the error I already got few weeks ago (without changing the
filename), and that’s the reason why I finally posted a link towards the
LO extensions website.
Is a "killer update" to the old dictionary an option?
Yes. When installing an extension, there is a way to display a mandatory
message. I’ll use this feature.

Olivier
