I see, I've never actually even tried Portal2 editor. There was just
rumours about a year ago for better more user friendly hammer coming
some time in the future along with the video related tools.

features into L4D2 to make it easier to release campaigns. Currently the system
does not support L4D2 sized files. Portal 2 will be releasing something

I suspect it will be quiet in here until E3.
Then we will all talk excitedly about whatever is announced.
After that, depending on what is announced, either mappers stay working on
L4D maps, or they all move over to the next greatest thing.
Personally if a hybrid Half-Life 3 / Portal 3 game was announced with tons
of new entities and mapper abilities... I might come back to map making
again for Valve games.
