Dear Friends,

If you want to help the people of Japan, you can send a donation to our
friends Yumi Kikuchi & Gen Morita, who are in Hawaii right now. Your checks
needs to be sent before April 2nd. You can read the letter from Yumi below.
Yumi & Gen are our good friends. They have helped me with my work in a very
big way. They translated ADDICTED To WAR into Japanese and helped to
distribute over 70,000 copies in Japan. They put Japanese subtitles on my
film "What I've Learned About U.S. Foreign Policy" and screened it at the
first ever Tokyo Peace Film Festival, which they organized. They brought me
to Japan about 7 years ago and had me on tour for 10 days talking about
U.S. foreign policy. They loaned me $5,000 for the first printing of
ADDICTED To WAR and this was before I ever had actually met them in person.
They have stayed at our home on many occasions when they have come to the
states. I trust them completely. So any money you send to them will be used
to: Support Victims from the Tohoku Kanto Earthquake/Tsunami.

Read Yumi's letter below.

Send your checks (before April 2nd) to:

Yumi & Gen Morita
For Tsunagu Hikari (Connecting Light)

Kaiilua, Hawaii 96734

Or you can send money directly to Gen's Bank Account:

Gen Morita
Bank of Hawaii
Kailua Branch routing number:121301028
account number: 6881-870209

We have set up a bank account dedicated to this mission in Japan, (see below
for the press release in English) but it is too hard for Americans to send
money internationally so, if you know and trust me and Gen personally, you
can send money to Gen Morita's account@Bank of Hawaii.

Thank you so very much and if you are not comfortable with money, spreading
this information is really helpful and supporting us.

Please always let me know by e-mail the donation is for Tsunagu Hikari, a
mission for evacuating pregnant women and children from nuke plants. All the
donation will be posted to our website with name, date and amount (unless
specified not to do so) and we will make sure all the money will be well
spent to help families with pregnant women and children.

If you have questions you can email Yumi at: [email protected] or Gen

Dear Friends,

We are now in Hawaii for our family vacation which was planned 6 months ago,
but now after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster, this trip have
turned into a critical and urgent mission for this new/current challenge
entire Japan(including ourselves) is facing right now.

I am in Oahu as I write this at friends house to do more media work before I
go to Kona, and Gen and kids left as planned for the Big Island. I will be
interviewed by local radio and newspapers to get word out and support.

Remember, be the media, be the change, be peace, was my talk in Costa Rica!

The sad thing is that government of Japan is denying the need for
evacuation as they say it is still safe even within 20 miles as long as they
stay inside the house (they evacuated people within 12 miles).

I have totally different perspective and understanding from our government
about low level radiation, especially for pregnant women and small children.
Because I know Dr. Rosalie Bertell and Dr.Earnest Sternglass personally (I
interpreted for Dr. Sternglass when he lectured in Japan back in 2006) and
their work on radiation and public health.

So, this mission is totally voluntary and citizens' mission, me as a
founder, Gen as a adviser, Kinjo as a CEO (who helped hosting you in Okinawa
in 2007) and Kaku as executive director. That is why I am asking
international community to support us. I think we are dedicating rest of our
lives to this mission to make Japan safer and more sustainable society.
(means no nuclear power plant on the earthquake faults)

If you trust me and Gen, the check can be sent before April 2 to:

Yumi & Gen Morita for Tsunagu Hikari (Connecting Light)
903 Maunawili Circle, Kaiilua, Hawaii 96734

You can reach me by Skype if you have any question about above.

"TSUNAGU HIKARI"(Connecting Light) Launched to Support Victims from the
Tohoku Kanto Earthquake/Tsunami

We, volunteer citizens of Japan, wish to announce the launching of "TSUNAGU
HIKARI", a support campaign for victims' from the Tohoku Kanto
Earthquake/Tsunami afflicted areas.

As there are expected to be serious effects caused by the radiation released
from the damaged nuclear power plants, the recovery of those areas afflicted
by the earthquake, tsunami and damaged nuclear power plants it is
anticipated to be a long term process.

Tsunagu Hikari is an information center created to help find accommodation
in Okinawa for pregnant women and families with small children from the
affected areas. Among the first to be evacuated will be women and children
living within the 30 km (20 mile) unsafe radiation boundary.

Okinawa is located in the most distant part of Japan from the afflicted
areas and can be considered to be the safest place for evacuees.

We are recruiting volunteers to help with this project. We need information
on available homes and unused hotel rooms, as well as any kind of housing or
dormitories etc. in Okinawa that can be offered for this purpose. We are
also doing fundraising to cover the costs.

Our Mission:

        1. To arrange accommodation in Okinawa for women and children
impacted by the tsunami/earthquake and radiation from the nuclear power
plants.

        2. To provide appropriate personal care as required by the victims,
including counseling, clothing and other personal items.
