Yes, I agree about the importance of temperament.  But I think (JMHO) what Carla was referring to was a prospective buyer who wanted a guaranteed calm, trained pup, which is a red flag to me of someone who may not be commited to being a lifetime owner.  Temperament issues such as the tradgedy of springer spaniel rage are of the utmost importance.

health and temperament have to be a package deal as much as possible
