I think it is all worth it!! My plan is to breed not just excellent
companion pets but Service and Therapy dogs too. For me testing was very
important, there is nothing more sad than to spend a year into training a
dog and find out it has bad hips :(
You make a 15+ year commitment when you decide to get a puppy so of course
you want to make sure and be picky about the pup you select. Some people
are fine with a back yard puppy or a shelter puppy while others need the
security of selecting a breeder they have confidence in! This is a
commitment of the heart so you make it from the heart :)
I am learning lots and I have lots more to learn, but I have learned that I
am absolutely loving it all! :)
