Are you giving him anything 'other" than his food...ie table scraps??? If not, he will eat when he is hungrey. I like to leave dry food down and my dogs nibble and eat when hungrey instead of gorging at one time. If you think it's a puppy vs adult dog food issue trasition him to adult chow by cutting a 1/3 into his meal slowly.
I feed Nutro ultra, my dogs love it..it is pricey though........but I don't add any vit's or suppliments as its all self contained. They also have a large breed puppy formula which I like...........
good luck,

My 4 month old puppy has been eating his food with no problems. The
last few days he's decided he doesn't want it. When do I know if the
food is a behavioral issue (just being stubborn) or a physical issue
(he just doesn't like it). ??
Thanks,
