I have a son who is very allergic to dogs and we too thought about a poodle but did not like the fact that they can be high strung. We have 2 labradoodles. Who are both very mellow. They are under 2 and are GREAT dogs. My son has never had a problem with them. We feel very luck to have found our labradoodles Sam and Sue. Christine Anchorage, AK
