lyelmom wrote: Thanks for any suggestions! I am new to this list and am looking for a labradoodle, so don't have one yet. However having had many puppies during my life, I would say that at 4 months, these little guys are still babies and probably will have accidents for quite some time. It seems sad that they are just getting used to their new home, without their siblings and mom and now will be put into a kennel while you are on vacation. They probably will be very confused as to where they belong. Housebreaking takes a lot of patience and consistency on the part of the human. Breaking this consistency by putting them in a kennel probably will set them back to square one. It has been my experience that if a puppy feels secure with a consistent feeding, sleeping and play schedule, that housebreaking goes much faster. This consistent schedule for what happens in their daily life helps them to schedule their potty times as well. jj __._,_.___
