Here is an article I wrote to help all of my clients. It works and is a very easy way to help your boys let you know. Also you need to make sure you are going out with them and rewarding them with even just one cheerio.
You must also give them feedback if you catch them going in the house. But only if you catch them and only Vocal feedback.
They will definitely regress at a kennel, it is a bad thing for a puppy.

breeder - any idea what we are doing wrong? Is there any books we
should be reading on housebreaking? Would you suggest using the
training pads?
Thanks for any suggestions! We are leaving for vacation on Thursday
I am hoping putting them in the kennels will not back-step any
housebreaking progress!
