we purchased a sheep skin rug, a cheap one the kind that is all pieces/long strips sewn together before we had Rupert and our previous dog, and with exception to the first night at home when they whimpered we have never had another bad night, i don't know if we were just very lucky with our puppies or whether they found comfort in the warmth of snuggling into the wool, Rupert is now 2years old,the rug fell apart slowly but he still carries small strips around with him, and gives them as little gifts to us.....needless to say they are washed when we wash his bath towels so the gift is something we enjoy to.
i hope this idea will perhaps give you a good night sleep,
Hugs to little Harvey
