We live in an area that has had a terrible deer problem for
a number of years now.  People have tried everything, and so
far, I've not heard of anything that worked.  The best
defense is a good offense, as usual.  When planting in your
yard, choose things that the deer don't like to eat.  Our
plant nurseries have made it their business to know these
things, so if you don't know, just ask them.
