Hi All,

I did hear, when we lived close to Ashridge in Hertfordshire, that people
living close to the boundaries where the deer roamed, used human hair as a
deterrent to the animals.

I think they had arrangements with all the hairdressing salons in the
vicinity to collect all the sweepings of hair, and spread it round the
boundaries of the garden and, seemingly, the deer didn't go anywhere near
the hair.  Maybe its just the smell of humans the deer were objecting to
.....   But it did work, I was told.
