Yesterday nearly 30,000 druids, pagans, new-age travellers (modern hippies) and ordinary people gathered at Stone Henge (an ancient stone circle in the south of England) to watch the sun rise over the stones on what was an absolutely glorious day. They greeted the sun with whoops, whistles and music.
Then the weather spoilt itself by giving us thunder and lightening with heavy showers all through the night until 7.30 am this morning. My poor dog, Ben the Border Collie that's frightened of sheep, just didn't know where to hide.
