July 4 (Independence Day) fireworks had the same effect on my 'dawg' - one thought there was a dinosaur in the house when he barked/bayed, but he'd kiss-to-death everyone who visited if he was allowed to . . . may he rest in peace under his favorite rosebush . . . sigh . . .
