I am just catching up with my email, and have been watching Galaxy Quest while waiting for the DH to get off the computer. I have to agree with you about Alan Rickman, a man of many talents, whether the baddie in Robin Hood or Die Hard to the sweet admiring gentleman in Sense and Sensibility. I think they must have chosen him for Prof. Snape from his crusty character in GQ. But our favourite "fun" baddie is Tim Curry, his characters can do the most dispicable things with zest and humour.
