I have not been keeping a button box, but I have been gifted buttons and purchased "cheap" assorted buttons so I DO have buttons. However, I also have my Mom's buttons and her Mom's buttons and the other buttons that are at my Mom's house, these are MY buttons, but I still have to FIND them<lol>. Mom and Dad are PackRats to the nth degree. Love them to pieces, but can't find anything in their home. What I DREAD is that one of my Sisters in law just TOOK the buttons. Have had two or three of them live at my parents home at different times... and each of those 3 are now EX SIL's but each was a bit of a twit too. And unfortunately, each the type to figure that these things wouldn't be missed.
