I call them his Vulcan gloves because he can easily make the "Live long and Prosper" sign. I remember wearing the mittens on strings in infant school, not sure about junior school though. I also remember around that age wearing a "liberty bodice" a garmet thicker than a vest, that had buttons around the bottom so that you could attach your nickers with the buttons holes on them and not have the gap around the waist. Does anyone remember having to wear navy blue nickers for playing netball? It was an all girls school but the boys hung around the railings when we were playing! Janice
