I have been lucky to have only had near misses with the deer around here, but the other night I wondered what my cat was intently staring at out of the family room window. About 8 feet away there was a deer helping himself to the bird feeder. Another one was standing in my ornamental pond. Now I know why the pond liner gets a leak every year!!
