Hi Laurie I've been requested to move this subject to chat. Surely these beautiful gold pieces encrusted/embedded with jewels etc. were meant to be worn and bangles/bracelets would be subjected to oils etc from the skin? I can understand and appreciate that they must be handled with care because not only are they very precious but presumably very fragile too and if I get the opportunity, I should love to go and see them myself.
