3 very useful emails, thank you. Our yogurt maker is new, but the leaflet
enclosed is completely unhelpful. In sudo speak it doesn't tell you how
much of anything it needs. So very difficult to understand.
We left it longer and then its gone into the fridge and has thickened up
this morning, so some possibilities. thank you all 3 of you for your
brilliant info I will read it through and see what helps.

Hi Sue
We use an EasiYo yoghurt maker and it makes perfect yoghurt every time.
It
consists of a large insulated plastic container, most probably you would
recognize it if I say it looks like a fat thermos flask. You pour boiling
water into this up to a predetermined notch, then take the separate
container fill that with water, top it up with the yoghurt powder, close
and
give a vigorous shake and place this container in the fat plastic
container.
Leave for 12 hours and a perfect yoghurt every time.
My answer most probably does not help you with your brand of yoghurt maker
but hope that you take encouragement from the fact that it is possible to
make yoghurt at home.

It appears to suggest you put cold milk in, yogurt culture and 6 hours
later
you have usable yogurt and that hasn't been the case.
I think DH miscalculated on the yogurt anyway but certainly its not easy
to
understand.
I thought I had something about yogurt making but of course I cant find
it.
