Or real cream slices - two slabs of flaky pastry, each about a quarter of an
inch thick with icing (frosting in the US) on the top layer, and sandwiched
together with with an inch thick of real cream between the slabs.
We have them too but they also have strawberry jam in with the cream, we
call them Napoleon Slices.
