Dear Friends,
This has proven to be one of those Nigerian
Scams. The Australian Police have been notified
as has Abbey Bank in Birmingham.
The intriguing thing was that the scammers
actually sent her a card with about £500 credit
on it. She has already used this to pay some
bills and it has not bounced. The police told her
not to worry as because the folk concerned are
fraudulent, there is no way they will ever try to recover this money
