When, on a trip to England a few years ago, I bought three of these winders, 
(no, not all for me - I was acting as a "courier" for other lacemakers) from
Russell Perrin, of SMP lace, he told me that if *ever* any part of the winder
broke, or got lost, he guarantees to send a replacement part anywhere in the
world.
