I am just back from a great holiday on Norfolk Island , South Pacific, and I
found one Lacemaker on the Island. We met for coffee, and she was
interested in my travel pillow. She only does a small amount of lacemaking
at the moment, and just had a torchon bookmark partly made, which she had
started for a demonstration on the Island.
My DH asked in various shops if there was a lacemaker there, and we
eventually got one good answer. The shopkeeper knew her, and had seen her
demonstrating, and gave me the phone no!
I am going to send her the Arachne address , along with some other
information about quilting supplies, in a day or so, so we may have a new
member in the near future.

And, Yes, - I made Bucks. Point at Bucks Point, (Norfolk Island)!!! I sat
on a Norfolk Island Pine tree root, high up on a cliff, with a strong wind
blowing, and the sea at my back! Photos were taken, just to prove it, but
there was no sign there , unfortunately, to identify the place.
