Hi All, Something else came up in Ithaca. I used a magnifier (fits on my head and the lenses go up and down) for my Needlelace class like I did when I learned Carrickmacross. Sumac's Withof teacher, Susie Johnson, suggests that they go as long as they can without magnification. Now the BLers do have good lights and I didn't use the magnifier when I finished the NL at home with a good light and I'm wondering what everyone else thinks.
After talking with Sue I did notice that I am tempted to put in more buttonhole stitches on the edge when I can see it so clearly. That's a good reason to stick with my eyes and a good light. Jane in Vermont, USA where we're getting some very strong wind and rain but the leaves are still on the trees.
