In my hurry to try and get through the lace digests, I must have deleted the one with this reference. Perhaps Robin could enlighten me. This because last year in a July heatwave, I visited the Museum with the Textile Society. It was a large Museum and we were allowed to visit parts of the Museum not normally open to the public. I have no idea how many items were on display.
